<p>Want to learn more about the dance major or minor? Do you love taking dance classes but don't know what majoring/minoring in dance would look like? Do you want to major in dance, but think double-majoring isn't possible? Do you want to figure out ways to go deeper into your study of dance, but aren't sure that majoring is right for you?</p><p>Come to the virtual info session on Thursday, April 9th, 11am -12pm with Dance Advisor Davianna Griffin over Zoom.

<p>Join the University of Washington Department of Dance for <em>Can U Feel It?</em> Club Night, Exhibition Battle, and Wh/aacking Class hosted by Tracey Wong featuring DJ Therese. </p><p>This event is <strong>free</strong> and <strong>open to all</strong>, including non UW students.

<p>José Limón based his technique on the natural rhythms of and dynamism between fall and recovery, underlining the idea that movement itself can create emotion and meaning. This season’s repertoire includes choreography by Limón, Brian Brooks, Talley Beatty and Mark Morris that explores the despair, thrill and humor intrinsic in the act of falling.</p>

<p>The UW Department of Dance invites all UW affiliated fans of dance to a welcome-back dance party. Mix and mingle with new and familiar faces in the department, play games, win prizes, and snap a picture at our photo booth. </p>

<p>The UW Department of Dance will be hosting auditions for the UW Dance Majors Concert on November 18th, 2019 at Meany Hall 265. </p>

<p>Concert dates are March 4-8th, 2020. </p>
<p>All UW Students who will be registered for a dance technique class in Winter Quarter 2020 are welcome to attend! </p>

<p><span>The UW Department of Dance is thrilled to present new works from nationally and internationally recognized choreographers Alethea Alexander, Rachael Lincoln, Adele Nickel, Dani Tirrell and "Majinn" Mike O’Neal Jr. in a concert featuring premieres of collaborations that question hierarchies in art and life. Accompanying new works generated from a diverse range of contemporary movement lexicons, t</span><span>he bill also includes original sound scores from </span><span>composers Ivory Smith and </span><span>Dr.
