Founded by Ronald K. Brown, EVIDENCE focuses on the seamless integration of traditional African dance with contemporary choreography and spoken word.

Dancing en travesti with razor-sharp wit and breathtaking pointe work, the all-male company performs polished parodies of pieces that span the classical ballet canon.

In re:CREATION the boundaries of gravity and creativity blur in a dynamic collection of timeless works, groundbreaking new experiments and inventive collaborations.

<p><span>The Dance Majors Concert is a platform for students to express their creative voices through every aspect of dance- from choreography to lighting, to costuming. Dance majors who have taken 3 dance-making classes</span><span> </span><span>have the opportunity to choreograph on and collaborate with other undergraduates for this annual performance.</span></p>

Mark your calendars because this spring, the UW Department of Dance will be inviting all of our UW Dance alumni to attend classes for free all week long and dance alongside current students with new and returning faculty! </p>
