Meet the Curator: A/political Rocks

Meet Adam Monohon, curator of A/political Rocks, for a tour of an exhibition that dives into the role that landscape photography has played in shaping experiences of the American West. Monohon will share insights into the exhibition’s development and aims, as well as discuss some of the images and histories within. Following a brief introduction, attendees will be invited to share in close-looking and dialogue around the photographs on display. Monohon will be available to guide discussion and answer questions.

Public Opening: 2023 University of Washington MFA + MDes Thesis Exhibition

Join the Henry and University of Washington's School of Art + Art History + Design in celebration of the 2023 University of Washington MFA + MDes Thesis Exhibition. See the diverse work of this year's graduate students and enjoy drinks and snacks. Remarks will be held at 6 PM in the sculpture court. ADMISSION FREE. RSVP encouraged but not required.

Public Opening: Thick as Mud

Join us in celebration of the opening of Thick as Mud, a group exhibition that explores the intimate relations humans have with mud. Enjoy art, drinks, music, and pick up some Henry swag! Ongoing exhibitions include Nina Chanel Abney: Fishing Was His Life, this was a densely wooded hill, and Donna Huanca: MAGMA SLIT. Henry members receive two free drink tickets! ADMISSION This event is free and open to the public.

Patron Preview: Thick as Mud

Henry Patron members are invited to a special preview of our latest exhibition, Thick as Mud, curated by Nina Bozicnik. Join us for remarks at 6:15 PM. Light hors d'oeuvres and drinks provided. Everyone is welcome to attend the Public Opening from 7 – 9 PM. ADMISSION This event is complimentary for Henry Patron Circle members and invited guests.
