Percussion Ensemble 

<blockquote><div>The UW Percussion Ensemble performs works integrating choice, performer-realization, and open instrumentation, exploring historical music by Franziska Boas and John Cage alongside newer works by Jeffrey Treviño, and Ivan Trevino plus a new work by Melissa Wang.</div>

Faculty Concert: Tekla Cunningham, violin: H.I.F. von Biber: Mystery Sonatas 

<p><span>Violinist Tekla Cunningham performs the Five Joyful Mysteries from H.I.F. von Biber’s</span><span> Mystery Sonatas. Each sonata calls for a differing scordatura tuning of the violin, accentuating the character of each piece. </span><span>The performance is one of three Cunningham will perform in </span><span><span>Seattle-area venues, to complete the full cycle of 15 sonatas in the spring of 2023.

UW Symphony with Carrie Shaw, soprano

<p>David Alexander Rahbee leads the University Symphony in a program of music by Debussy, Dukas, Ligeti, Reynaldo Hahn, and Haydn. With faculty artist Carrie Shaw, coloratura soprano on Ligeti’s <span>Mysteries of the Macabre, from Le Grand Macabre. </span></p>
